The brief: The owners of this north facing house had already carried out the hard landscaping and needed help with the planting scheme. The garden is over-shadowed by a mature street tree and now has shade tolerant planting which provides structure throughout the year. It is at its best in spring, as there are hundreds of bulbs in flower before the leaf canopy unfurls.
