Melinda O'Driscoll

I trained and worked as a doctor before fulfilling a life long desire to switch to designing gardens. For many years, my love of plants, horticulture, gardens and garden design has provided a creative outlet to balance medicine’s professional demands. Interestingly, many of the medical skills I acquired along the way are just as applicable to garden design.

I trained with KLC School of Design at Hampton Court Palace, an inspiring location for any garden design student. I am a Friend of the Society of Garden Designers, the professional body for garden designers.

To date, commissions have embraced everything from small domestic gardens to large-scale locations, in cities and country locations. All these projects have required a good understanding of the client, in depth research and the ability to find practical but creative solutions for challenging areas.

Based near Stroud in Gloucestershire, I am happy to undertake projects in the South West and London and the South East.
